The play will be showing in Long Beach at Holy Innocents on December 3rd. Performances will be at 2:00 pm ande 7:00 pm.  The cost of the tickets is $10 in advance and $15 at the door. The link to buy tickets on line is

Some of the actors performed three scenes at the Clergy Appreciation Night for the San Gabriel Valley last night. It is hoped that the performance might be sponsored by the Knights at other parishes and that this be done in conjunction with a invitation for men who attend to join the Knights of Columbus.

Set in the 1920’s, Viva Cristo Rey is the story of the beloved Mexican hero, Blessed Miguel Pro, who risked his life to go underground and minister the Sacraments to his flock during a dark period of religious persecution in Mexico known as the Cristero period. Presented by the G.K. Chesterton Theatre Company, written by Cathal Gallagher and Fred Martinez, directed by Angel Duran with a run time of 2 hours.
