Orange County Catholic Prayer Breakfast

GREAT news. Through an amazing set of circumstances, the relics of St. Therese of Lisieux will be present on campus for public viewing and veneration on Wednesday September 18 during the upcoming Orange County Catholic Prayer Breakfast! CLICK HERE for more information.
Please plan to be with us for what will be a very memorable occasion in the history of our local Church. Wednesday September 18 we will gather for public recitation of the most holy rosary, pray together the morning prayer from the liturgy of the hours with the beautiful music of the Orange County Catholic Choir led by Mr. Brian Dehn, be inspired by the teaching of Archbishop J. Augustine Di Noia, O.P., Vice President of the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, hear a special message from our Bishop Kevin Vann, have an opportunity to share a meal with old friends from throughout the diocese and beyond, and then tour the Christ Cathedral Campus and observe up close the most recent renovations and renewals taking place there, and if you schedule allows, we have arranged for a special celebration of the Eucharist in the Large Gallery and of course, the veneration of relics of St. Therese of Lisieux. What a day!If you have not done so already, please visit www.occatholicprayerbreakfast.com and make your reservations today! It would be great if we could spend a few moments after breakfast to help the other volunteers clear the tables. Don’t need to move tables and chairs just clear the tops of coverings, cups leftovers, etc

The Color Corps has been requested to escort the Bishop and the procession at 7:00 am Wednesday, and to provide color corps for the relics from 9:00 am and lead the procession to the art gallery at about 10:30 am. This is a great opportunity for the color corps to show our support for Bishop Vann.

The relics of St. Therese of Lisieux will be present on campus for public viewing and veneration from 11:00 am Wednesday to 10:00 pm Wednesday and from 6:00 am Thursday to 9:00 AM (following the 8AM daily mass) on Thursday September 19. Color Corps members are requested to attend the veneration in regalia. It is up to the members to choose the time for their veneration. Knights please wear your council name badges.
