Christmas Dinner- Italian Style
So what should we, your cook’s team, make for you for a December meeting dinner? Lets do something Italian. Lets start with a great big Antipasto or Insalata. You know what that is don’t you? You have had it before. Insalata is a salad, but we are having a combination or an American Antipasto. Just in case you forgot, we will start with a bed of mixed greens (Insalata), adding pepperoni, salami, ham, provolone cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, black olives, garbanzo beans and the rest of the ingredient’s you can just dream about. Next we follow with the primi piatti (That is the first course) with a big bowl of spaghetti covered with Italian gravy. (That’s tomato marinara sauce to you non-Italians) then the secondo piatti (Second course) we bring out the Italian sausages and meat balls and then the pene (bread) garlic cheese bread. Of course we cannot forget the dolci (dessert). This year we will have a special treat in which you will have to attend the dinner to find out just what your cooks team has in store for you. As a finally we also have Vino (wine). Of course if you prefer we have an ample supply of Beer, water or sodas.
