District Marshal Ernie O’Leary passed away suddenly April 16th. Ernie was a Past Grand Knight, Past Faithful Navigator, District Deputy and former Color Corps Commander. In addition to being an Honorary Life Member of the Fourth Degree, he was a charter member of Christ Cathedral Assembly 3479. Ernie was a role model for what a Knight should be. He lived our principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. In his green cape and chapeau, he led the Color Corps in the Huntington Beach July 4th parade. As a proud Irishman, Ernie was a Past President of Division One of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and was an affiliate member of the religious Brothers of St. Patrick in Midway City. He was always ready to help, and we will miss his smile and enthusiasm.
